5 Interests for Intermediate Scripting:
Well… scripting is fun, but it IS a challenge. My experience with web in the future will become A LOT easier once i obtain more knowledge with CSS. Some topics i would like to have discussed in this Intermediate Scripting course:
- CSS is a PAIN IN THE BUTT, especially when something isn’t working! I would like to know if there’s a way for the scripting program (whatever program being used) to highlight or somehow IDENTIFY an error; this way i don’t have to search through EVERY LAST CHARACTER to find the problem when my code isn’t working!
- I would like to know how to do different style sheets. I am already familiar with the Embedded Style Sheet, but i haven’t done an External SS, and i am not sure if i’ve ever done an Inline SS. If i have… apparently it didn’t stick in my mind because i DON’T remember it!
- FRAMEWORKS- I had never heard of a “Framework” until i got to Intermediate Scripting. Funny thing is… i had already done one before unknowingly. My question/topic: Is there a certain place or program you’re supposed to DO a framework in or can you just save your code ANYWHERE?
- Some CSS properties don’t work in every web browser. Is there a way to know which properties and codes WORK and DON’T WORK in certain browsers?
- I would like to have a better understanding of the “Cascade” order. There’s this line starting with the user, then the user agent, and then the designer. An in-depth look into this ‘order’ and what it means for the designer will help when it’s time to deal with clients.
